My favorite subject

Today I will talk about the subject that I like.
My favorite subject is Animal Diversity. In this class we learn the structures and functions of all animals from a general standpoint, starting from the most basic animal (such as protozoa) to more complex animals (like mammals).
Classes in general are very interesting. Although this depends largely on the teacher to make them: there is a very entertaining teacher in particular, but others are incredibly boring. Moreover we have classes in the laboratory, in which we observe directly the things that  we learned in class.
I like this course because it gives us an overview of the animal world, which serves as a basis for more specific classes that we will have later, and it helps us to have more "general knowledge" about the animal world. In addition, this first semester of classes we have only subjects of “general training”, this being the only subject clearly focused on animals, which is what interests me

I admire Steve Irwin (The Crocodile Hunter)

Steve Irwin was an Australian ecologist, born in Melbourne, who dedicated his life to the care and conservation of Australian fauna
He was known for his TV show "The Crocodile Hunter"which was broadcast on Animal Planet. He never studied. All his knowledge was because their parents had a zoo, so he grew from childhood among animals. He died in 2006 because while filming an episode of the program of his daughter, a stingray pierced his heart with its sting.

Steve was a very passionate conservationist who, through his television show promoting environmentalism. He also founded 3 organizations dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of animals.

I admire Steve Irwin because I find this one of the few hundred percent committed to nature, including his entire family in their work, and no matter what other people thought of him. In addition, their work and the help of his team helped many animals to be rehabilitated and thus to return to their environment.
Moreover, thanks to him, many people could get closer to the natural world, looking from another perspective the beauty that surrounds us
and so many people became aware of the need to avoid damage to our flora and fauna.

That´s all for now...
