Steve Irwin was an Australian ecologist, born in Melbourne, who dedicated his life to the care and conservation of Australian fauna
He was known for his TV show "The Crocodile Hunter"which was broadcast on Animal Planet. He never studied. All his knowledge was because their parents had a zoo, so he grew from childhood among animals. He died in 2006 because while filming an episode of the program of his daughter, a stingray pierced his heart with its sting.
Steve was a very passionate conservationist who, through his television show promoting environmentalism. He also founded 3 organizations dedicated to the care and rehabilitation of animals.
I admire Steve Irwin because I find this one of the few hundred percent committed to nature, including his entire family in their work, and no matter what other people thought of him. In addition, their work and the help of his team helped many animals to be rehabilitated and thus to return to their environment.Moreover, thanks to him, many people could get closer to the natural world, looking from another perspective the beauty that surrounds us and so many people became aware of the need to avoid damage to our flora and fauna.
